Wallcovering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Wallcovering Specialist to join our team at OHM Constructions & Electric Services. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
Job DescriptionThis is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and less than 1 year of experience in the trade. You will work outdoors and at heights, visiting various locations throughout the day.
The tasks involved in this role include preparing surfaces for painting, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to the desired color and texture, measuring and cutting wallpaper and fabric, advising clients on colors and wall coverings, erecting scaffolding, and applying paint and other materials.
You must have attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between colors. Physical demands include bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Steel-toed safety boots are required.
