Cushioning Craftsman

Are you a skilled craftsman with a passion for creating comfortable and durable furniture? Do you have experience working with upholstery materials and tools?

We are seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join our team at AYAT MATTRESS MANUFACTURING LIMITED. As an Upholsterer, you will be responsible for replacing worn-out webbing, springs, and other furniture parts, laying out, cutting, fabricating, and installing upholstery.

You will also be tasked with tacking, gluing, or sewing ornamental trim, braids, or buttons, repairing furniture frames, and refinishing wood surfaces. Additionally, you will operate sewing machines or sew by hand to create high-quality upholstered products.

You must have a combination of sitting, standing, and walking in your daily work routine, as well as bending, crouching, and kneeling. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The estimated weekly hours are 30-35 hours.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $40,000 - $55,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This compensation package includes a competitive hourly rate, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development within our company.
