About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Consultant to join our team at Scotiabank. As a Senior Financial Consultant, you will play a key role in assisting our clients in achieving their personal financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients in creating comprehensive financial plans and investment strategies.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our financial services and products.
  • Participate in seminars and information meetings to educate clients about investment programs and related services.
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional client service and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial services, with a university degree in business, commerce, or financial planning.
  • Hold the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, and be IIROC licensed as a Registered Representative (IIROC-RR).
  • Life License (LLQP) and a willingness to complete other regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
