We are seeking an experienced Insurance Risk Management Expert to join our team in a Senior Risk Engineering Consultant Liability role. This position will provide risk assessment and improvement services for customers and business partners in specific or multiple lines of business.
About the RoleIn this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for assessing complex risks, identifying loss potentials, and providing expert advice on risk management issues to internal business partners and external customers. You will work closely with our customers' Risk Managers to provide extensive risk insights and develop risk improvement programs related to Liability.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the quality of complex risks and assess loss potentials in accordance with agreed definitions.
- Support external customers by identifying and reducing individual and overall account risks.
- Provide appropriate risk improvement advice, conduct loss investigations, and implement risk improvement programs.
- Share technical expertise through training delivery or participation in a Centre of Expertise or industry segment.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree or 6 years of experience in the Risk Engineering area related to Liability.
- OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area in Liability.
- OR Zurich Certified Apprentice, including an associate degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area related to Liability.
- AND Experience working in a team environment.
A strong asset for this role would be:
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Prior experience in complex liability.
- CRM or CIP Designations considered an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of exposures controls.
- Advanced knowledge within industry segment.
- Certification in area of specialty, Risk Engineering.
