Job Summary:

Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare is seeking a skilled Child and Youth Psychologist to provide comprehensive assessment and intervention services to children and youth with behavioral, emotional, developmental, and mental health concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments to identify cognitive, personality, and environmental factors affecting clients

• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team

• Engage in clinical liaison with community agencies, schools, and other professionals

• Complete reports and progress notes in accordance with established standards

• Participate in staff training and consultation to ensure effective services

• Assess group dynamics and facilitate group therapy sessions

• Demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act and PHIPA

• Possess strong therapeutic and assessment skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals

Requirements:

• A Ph.D. in Psychology is required

• License to practice as a Psychologist in Ontario or eligibility to become licensed
