Join our team at Colorworks Painting Ltd. as a Construction Laborer. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the painting crew by loading, unloading and transporting construction materials to the site.

We are looking for an individual who is willing to learn and take on new challenges. As a Construction Laborer, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry and develop skills that will last a lifetime.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

This is a full-time permanent position with 35-40 hours of work per week. The work language is English, and we offer a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, veterans, Indigenous people, mature workers, and visible minorities.

We provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a safe and inclusive workplace.

The tasks associated with this role include:

  • Loading, unloading and transporting construction materials to the site.
  • Mixing, pouring and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials.
  • Performing routine maintenance work.
  • Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction.
