Job Summary

Mitten Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software: Utilize ERP software to manage financial data and perform various accounting tasks.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Possess strong computer and technology skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check.
