About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to drive the development of key components of our Ads lifecycle. As a member of our cross-functional team, you will work with stakeholders to streamline the Ads workflow and lead the design discussion for specific domains.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate where and how EA's live service solutions, studio tech stacks, and vendor solutions can work together to achieve both engineering goals and business objectives in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Lead the development of ads network connection, ads marketplace, data exchange, funnel analysis, measurement, and reporting.
  • Use massive data sets from 20+ game studios to promote a data-driven decision-making process and experimentation culture.
  • Work with Game Studios, Experience, and Brand organizations to understand their use cases and drive end-to-end solutions to meet requirements.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Privacy teams to ensure compliance directives are strictly followed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/related field or relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Domain knowledge of the Ads industry, including the ads lifecycle such as creative management, inventory management, marketplace, bidding & optimization, data workflow, measurement.
  • Experience developing, managing, and running large-scale services with complex dependencies in a microservice-based design.
  • Competencies in algorithms, data structures, and software design.
Salary

The estimated salary for this role in British Columbia is $96,400 - $133,900 CAN Annually.
