Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Public Relations Specialist to join our Resource Development department. In this role, you will play a critical part in furthering our organizational mission and fundraising goals through various strategies, including media and electronic communications, organizational events, third-party benefit events, and strategic community engagement projects and relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure our presence in the broader community and identify opportunities that increase mission awareness.
- Manage our online presence, including our website and social media pages, to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Create and distribute marketing materials, including brochures, reports, and advertisements, to promote our mission and programs.
- Develop and implement public relations strategies to increase visibility and credibility within our community.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts.
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in public relations, marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their applications in public relations.
