About the Role

The Marketing & Biomedical Communications Intern will work closely with the Creative Marketing & Events team to develop and execute new content for promotional materials and campaigns. This may include UX/UI, animations, illustrations, trade exhibitions, advertising, and general marketing collateral to support sales and marketing efforts.

The Intern will gain exposure to the marketing, promotion, and sales of innovative medical devices, while interfacing with various stakeholders and subject matter experts. Responsibilities will include working with cross-functional teams to research, write, design, and edit training or promotional collateral that meets regulatory and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute new content for promotional materials and campaigns
  • Work with cross-functional teams to research, write, design, and edit training or promotional collateral
  • Gain exposure to the marketing, promotion, and sales of innovative medical devices
  • Interface with various stakeholders and subject matter experts
Requirements
  • Actively enrolled in, or a recent graduate from, the Master of Science in Biomedical Communications (MScBMC) program at the University of Toronto, or a similar program
  • Software experience: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects; Maxon Cinema 4D or similar 3D software
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
