About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Kitchener, ON. As a key member of our municipal design team, you will be responsible for leading existing technical design staff on projects related to sewer and watermain design, roadway and intersection improvements, site servicing, and potable water systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage technical design staff on municipal projects
  • Design and develop infrastructure projects, including sewer and watermain systems, roadways, and site servicing
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including proposals, reports, and specifications
  • Perform contract administration duties, including contractor interaction and progress payment certificates
  • Communicate and work with other project team members to provide quality service to clients
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • 6+ years of experience in municipal civil engineering design and CAD
  • P. Eng designation in Ontario
  • Design experience in surface grading, water and sewer pipe networks, and detail design
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016
