Fronius Canada is a leading provider of high-quality welding solutions, and we are seeking a skilled Welding Systems Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Welding Systems Specialist to support our sales process by configuring robotic/automated/manual welding systems, providing technical presentations, and acting as a technical expert.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and support robotic/automated/manual welding systems
  • Provide technical presentations and training to customers and partners
  • Design and implement robotic welding cells in the manufacturing industry
  • Assist with new installations and retrofits of welding systems
  • Provide phone and email support to customers and partners
  • Perform onsite repairs of robotic and manual welding equipment
  • Lead training for new product launches
  • Document and report market trends, customer feedback, and competition
  • Participate in trade shows and provide technical support

Requirements

  • Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technician/Technology
  • Strong technical understanding of digitally controlled inverter-based electronics
  • Experience with robotic interfaces is an asset
  • Experience with welding systems is an asset
  • Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Must be willing and authorized to travel throughout Canada, USA, and Europe
  • Must have a valid driver's license
