Job Overview

The Health Standards Organization (HSO) is seeking a skilled IT professional to join its Digital House team. This dynamic, cross-functional team comprises Software Engineers, QA Engineers, Data Analysts, Client Technical Support Associates, and Product Managers who work together to build a new digital experience for users.

About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to partner with Business Units to solve complex problems, contribute to Scrum teams, and work in a fast-paced environment that requires agile thinking and clear communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Business Units to problem solve, determine root causes, and recommend solutions to support operations.
  • Contribute to Scrum teams through participation in scrum events and ceremonies, and ensure product backlogs contain relevant requirements, user needs, and criteria for success.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment that requires agile, clear thinking for quick turnaround of accurate, high-quality deliverables while managing multiple priorities.
  • Use excellent communication skills to clearly explain complex technical issues to colleagues and stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • A passion for software quality, solid problem-solving skills, strong work ethic, and attention to detail is imperative.
  • Ability to communicate with external and internal business and technical audiences.
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work well independently or in a cross-disciplinary team, remote or co-located.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingualism in English and French is a strong asset.
  • Experience in software development, testing, or related fields.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. HSO offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as retirement savings options.
