Job Summary

Rice Tool and Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a skilled Welding Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications, making adjustments as needed.
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air) and hoisting and lifting equipment to prepare metal for welding.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in welding and metal fabrication is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality production.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 30 to 36 hour workweek. The language of work is English.
