We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flower Grower to join our team at Grozone Greenhouse Ltd. as a Greenhouse Horticulture Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our greenhouse, ensuring the highest quality of plant production and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Greenhouse Management: Organize and manage the greenhouse operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Plant Production: Control and prevent insect, disease, and weed problems, and establish and maintain the required environment for optimal plant growth.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise staff in various areas of responsibility, including planting, transplanting, feeding, and spraying.
- Quality Control: Ensure the highest quality of plant production and customer satisfaction.
- Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in floriculture production.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding conditions.
- Personal Qualities: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, and a team player.
