Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Peer Support Worker to join our Mental Health Substance Use (MHSU) Homelessness team in Salmon Arm/Enderby, B.C. The successful candidate will provide emotional and social supports, life skills assistance, information, resources, and demonstrations to clients living with substance use/mental illness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients and the MHSU team to meet individual needs and situational requirements.
- Provide information from a lived experience perspective to assist clients in obtaining services from other MHSU team staff, external service providers, and community resources.
- Work in collaboration with the MHSU team to support clients' self-identified goals for recovery and community integration.
