About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Site Deployment Engineer to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As an integral part of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of site deployments across various construction projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Daily Site Inspections Utilize our cutting-edge Augmented Reality technology, The Atom, to inspect sites and verify that works are being installed correctly as per the BIM Model.
  • Maintain Control Network Establish and maintain our control network on site using a Robotic Total Station for the longevity of the project.
  • Report Preparation Produce daily reports based on your inspections to ensure seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • Coordination and Planning Attend meetings to coordinate with contractors and plan daily activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Data Review and Analysis Process and review all acquired data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Communication and Reporting Maintain an efficient workflow and ensure all requested inspections are conducted within the specified timeframe.
  • Weekly Lookahead Planning Collaborate with the Contractor to devise a weekly lookahead of inspections aligned with the master construction programme to minimize incorrect installations.
  • Revit Model Management Obtain and prepare the latest approved Revit models to export into HoloSite.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in civil engineering, land surveying, geospatial or geodetic engineering, construction management, construction engineering, BIM, or similar.
  • Experience working on construction projects.
  • A strong work ethic, ambition, and interest in new technology.
  • Proficiency in 3D software (Revit, Navisworks etc) or BIM/BIM360 is desirable.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • A valid right to work in Canada.
