The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Advisor to join our Indigenous Banking team. As a Mortgage Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on mortgage products and services, and for building strong relationships with clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationships - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Mortgage Advice - Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on mortgage products and services, including mortgage options, interest rates, and repayment terms.
  • Community Engagement - Engage with First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities, building relationships and understanding their unique needs and challenges.
  • Business Development - Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with realtors, lawyers, and other professionals who can refer clients.

Requirements

  • Experience - 2+ years of experience in sales, mortgage, or a related field.
  • Skills - Strong oral and written communication skills, experience in self-sourcing business, and a strong network of realtors, lawyers, and other professionals.
  • Education - Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business or finance.
