About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Equipment Specialist to join our team at BATHLA ELECTRONICS LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect the operation of telecommunications equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Install, arrange, remove and maintain telephone equipment, wiring and associated hardware to ensure seamless communication.
  • Test installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults and analyze test results to adjust or repair switching systems, networks, and associated equipment and software.
  • Complete and maintain test and service reports to document work completed and identify areas for improvement.
  • Determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble to provide effective solutions.
  • Install electromechanical, analog, and digital trunking systems, circuits, and equipment in telecommunications central offices and switching centers.
  • Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets to ensure efficient communication.
  • Determine work assignments to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion.
  • Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access and ensure seamless connectivity.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in telecommunications equipment installation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems, networks, and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot equipment faults.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and clients.
