About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our team at Back-Factory. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the backend systems for our collaborative investing platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize real-time trading systems, including securities, market data, news, and events, as well as portfolio and equity position management.
  • Work closely with other engineers to rapidly turn our vision and roadmap into a product with global impact.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure backend systems using Java Spring Boot, MySQL, and Node JS.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration with cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 3 years of experience developing backend systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, RESTful API, WebSocket API, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies.
  • Knowledge of product management best practices and experience collaborating with other engineers and product managers.
  • Familiarity with the finance space and/or knowledge of investing and the capital markets.
