Managing Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Managing Consultant to join our team in Kelowna. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for retaining and growing relationships with our group benefits clients. Your primary focus will be on understanding our clients' needs and working collaboratively with our supporting teams to identify opportunities to enhance their benefits journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic consulting plans to drive client relationships
  • Review plan performance and client files to gain insights into claims experience
  • Analyze data and carrier proposals, prepare cost comparisons, and facilitate presentations to recommend the best option for clients
  • Conduct ad hoc investigations of claims data to explain trends to clients
  • Provide technical and peer review work for analysts and associates
  • Coordinate new business implementation and support working relationships with Plan Sponsors, Plan Administrators, and Representatives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business Administration (or equivalent)
  • Life license required
  • Customer service-oriented mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Valid driver's license and consistent access to a vehicle
  • GBA or CEBS designation considered an asset
