Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Markham, ON
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year
Industry: Manufacturing
Shift: Days
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and Supervise the Production Team: Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team meets production targets and maintains high standards of product quality.
- Ensure Production Efficiency: Monitor production processes, adhere to schedules, and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues.
- Maintain Quality and Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements, and implement safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with Other Departments: Optimize production efficiency and workflow by working closely with other departments.
- Conduct Performance Evaluations: Regularly evaluate team members' performance and provide feedback to promote growth and development.
- Foster a Positive Work Environment: Promote teamwork, employee engagement, and a positive work environment.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with production software.
