Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rheumatologist to join our team at Island Health. As a key member of our adult community rheumatology practice, you will provide full scope care to patients, including outpatient consultations, lab and imaging services, and hospital-based testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultative inpatient services at Nanaimo General Hospital
  • Order medical ambulatory treatments
  • Participate in the Rheumatology Rapid Access to Consultative Expertise (RACE) line
  • Join the Vancouver Island Rheumatology Association (VIRA) and participate in biannual conferences
  • Engage in research and teaching opportunities with medical students, interns, and rheumatology fellows
  • Participate in University of British Columbia Division of Rheumatology weekly rounds
Requirements

• Full-time position with 8 hours, 4-5 days a week
