About the Role

C & K Homes Ltd is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shingler Trainee to join our team. As a Shingler Trainee, you will assist experienced roofers in installing and replacing asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and shakes, as well as masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Replace Roofing Materials: Assist in the installation and replacement of asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and shakes, as well as masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
  • Erect and Install Scaffolding: Assist in the erection and installation of scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
  • Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Will train on the job.
