Part-Time High School Math Teacher/Tutor Wanted

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic part-time teacher-tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning North Bay. As a teacher-tutor, you will work directly with students to help them develop their math skills and build their confidence in the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach math to students in grades 9-12
  • Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes
  • Completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math curriculum, particularly senior math and including, but not limited to, advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry and calculus, and vectors.
