Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at A&J Sons Holdings Inc. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a safe working environment.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Manage Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
- Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that we provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have accurate and up-to-date information to inform our business decisions.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports on sales, customer feedback, and other key performance indicators, ensuring that we are able to track our progress and make informed decisions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or related industry.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and physically demanding work.
