Key Responsibilities- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) System: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and manage customer loyalty programs.
- Manage Cash Handling: Count and reconcile cash drawers, handle customer refunds and exchanges, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure the store is clean and safe for customers and employees, and report any maintenance or repair issues to management.
- Assist with Inventory Management: Help with receiving and stocking merchandise, and report any discrepancies to management.
- Work as Part of a Team: Collaborate with other employees to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Experience an asset
