Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Manager, Packaging, the Packaging Set-up Operator is responsible for the assembly, adjustment, and operation of various machines in the Packaging Department. The successful candidate will ensure that equipment is maintained in optimal operating conditions and guarantees the execution of tasks according to GMP and HSE standards.

Main Responsibilities

1. Batch Production

The Packaging Set-up Operator ensures the assembly/disassembly and operation of equipment according to procedures and instructions in force. They diligently complete documentation during production and ensure daily that machines are in good working order. They collaborate with operators and team leaders to ensure that the production schedule is respected.

2. Equipment and Materials

The Packaging Set-up Operator guarantees the good working condition and conformity of equipment and premises. They ensure that their workstation is maintained, equipment is clean, and complies with GMP and HSE standards. They ensure proper use of equipment and inform the team leader/manager of any problems encountered.

3. GMP and HSE

The Packaging Set-up Operator performs work in compliance with current GMP and HSE standards, policies, and procedures. They apply HSE directives, procedures, and instructions on a daily basis and guarantee to declare any quality/HSE event to their manager.

Requirements

a) Training Required

A DEC in mechanics, electromechanics (an asset) or DEP with relevant experience is required. Secondary minimum V or equivalent is also required.

b) Languages

French is required, and English is an asset.

c) Special Experience and Knowledge

Minimum 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical industry or related field as an assembly operator is required.

d) Specific Technical Skills

Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic knowledge and knowledge of production tools are required.
