Job Summary

Nikko Sushi is seeking a skilled Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in a timely and efficient manner, handling cash, credit, debit, and other forms of payment.
  • Describe menu items to customers, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
  • Clean and maintain the dining area, including tables, trays, and chairs, to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Greet patrons and present menus, making recommendations and answering questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that orders are accurate and delivered to the correct table.
  • Take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled promptly and accurately.
Requirements
  • Efficient interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent oral communication skills to provide clear and concise information to customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity during peak periods.
  • Will train to ensure that you have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.
Working Conditions
  • Permanent position with a regular schedule.
  • 30-40 hours per week with opportunities for additional hours during peak periods.
  • English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
