Immunogenicity Research Scientist

As a Research Scientist for our Immunogenicity team located at our state-of-the-art facility, you will primarily analyze the immune response induced by biotherapeutics, including gene and cell therapies, as well as biologics and vaccines in order to determine the safety and efficacy of drugs.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing various immunoassays and enzyme assays on multiple platforms, including antibody assay by ELISA and Electrochemiluminescence (ECL), performing cell culture as well as bioassays, protein purification, dialysis, and labelling. Various automation platforms can also be used, such as the Biomek, the Gyros, and the Hamilton.
• Developing, validating, and analyzing methods to support our clients' research and development needs
• Documenting and processing analytical data according to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Research Scientist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immunology and a proven track record of success in a laboratory setting.

• Holder of a degree in Science (Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory, or equivalent) or a degree in Science (Immunology, Biology, Biochemistry)
• Ability to work under time constraints, outstanding organizational skills, and ability to adapt to changes
• Work with precision, pay attention to detail, and strive for quality work
• Self-starter with a collaborative and positive attitude
• Reading comprehension in English is mandatory. Bilingualism in French and English is preferred

Role Specific Information:

• Location: Our state-of-the-art facility / Free parking / Free shuttle service from Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to our facility
• Salary: Starting at 23$/hrs
• Annual bonus based on performance
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:15pm
• Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week
