About the Role

Prahit Inc. is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machine tools to produce precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology) an asset
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
    • Ability to set up and adjust production machinery and tools
    • Experience with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques
    • Knowledge of computer-controlled machine tools and programming languages (e.g. CNC)
  • Work Experience
    • 1-6 months of experience in a related field (e.g. manufacturing, machining)
    • Permanent employment with a regular schedule (35-40 hours/week)
    • Fluency in English language required
