Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with Scotiabank's project management policies and standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects, working closely with stakeholders across our global footprint.
- Manage project scope, ensuring clear objectives, deliverables, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints are defined and documented.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal clients, articulating and documenting desired business outcomes.
- Prepare and present project management documentation, including project charters, schedules, budgets, and communication plans.
- Ensure project key deliverables are reviewed, discussed, and approved by the appropriate parties.
- Manage project execution, tracking activities against the project plan, and identifying project dependencies.
- Proactively manage, raise, and resolve project risks and issues, defining and executing mitigation plans.
- Manage and report on project budgets, preparing monthly cost forecasts, quarterly accruals, and year-end carry forwards.
- Prepare executive-level presentations to communicate project status to senior management.
- Fluent in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking).
- 7-10+ years of experience as a Project Manager with both Agile and Waterfall project experience.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Knowledge of Contact Centre strategies, operations, Voice & Non-Voice channels, technologies, and industry trends.
- Strong communication skills, energetic, self-motivated, with the ability to create a collaborative process across various stakeholders.
- Strong initiative, forward thinking, and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to create or stimulate customer-focused strategies.
- Strong level of PC/software skills, particularly in MS Office suite and project/process design and administration tools.
- Business background in financial services with strong knowledge of retail banking products, sales processes, and distribution channels.
- Excellent organization and communication skills with the ability to create clear, concise executive-level PowerPoint presentations.
- Able to create structure out of ambiguous situations.
- PMP Designation.
- Undergraduate degree preferred.
