Framing Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Liam Construction Fort McMurray Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and quality of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and assembling materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to ensure precise fit and finish.
- Install Windows, Doors, and Staircases: You will install windows, doors, and staircases, ensuring a seamless and secure fit.
- Schedule and Coordinate Work: You will schedule and coordinate work on sites, ensuring timely completion of projects and minimal disruptions.
- Maintain and Repair Structures: You will maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
- Work Conditions: You will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often in various locations, and may be required to work at heights or in confined spaces.
- Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, as you will be required to lift, bend, and crouch frequently.
- Education: You must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: You must have at least 3 years of experience in the trade, with a strong understanding of construction principles and practices.
- Language: You must be fluent in English, as this is the primary language used in our workplace.
- Work Hours: You will work 32 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
