About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our team at Trudell Healthcare Solutions Inc. As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in building and executing business plans for our current product portfolios, working collaboratively with cross-functional departments to drive penetration of our products in the Canadian marketplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop strategies on product positioning, product gaps, and overall business growth opportunities. Develop and execute business plans for existing product portfolios, advance and broaden the digital strategy to support new and existing product portfolios, maintain positive relationships with suppliers, lead QBRs with manufacturing partners, and build compelling value propositions for each product.
  • Marketing: Gather market data to establish competitive positioning, market trends, customer needs, and business opportunities. Manage the successful launch of product extensions and new products, ensure acceleration of revenue growth and profitability for each supplier, engage with sales leadership to identify learning gaps, build resources to elevate product knowledge and sales enablement, and execute strategy to engage KOL development for key products and new products.
  • Communication: Build cross-functional relationships with all departments within THS, ensure a stronger sales & marketing integration and collaboration, maintain regular and ongoing communication with Senior Leadership regarding planned activities, concerns, recommendations, and guidance, foster strong bonds of collaboration with relevant colleagues, and ensure product knowledge offering is part of the sales force training program.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • College Diploma in Marketing, Business, or equivalent.
  • Three to five years' experience in a similar role in the Healthcare industry.
  • Minimum three years of sales experience in the medical product industry is an asset.
  • A medical clinical designation, earned following completion of education (e.g., Respiratory Therapist, Nurse, etc.), is an asset.
  • A clear vulnerable sector/criminal background check, appropriate for working in the hospital environment.
  • Knowledge of Medical terminology and product usage in the field is an asset.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • ERP System experience is an asset.
  • Advanced negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships.

  • Compensation based on a regular work week of thirty-seven and one half working hours, with additional working hours as required to meet ongoing business demands and to fulfill job responsibilities.
