About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Operations Specialist to join our global IT leadership team. This individual will be responsible for managing and securing Colgate's global network infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, with experience in designing and implementing secure network architectures. They will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain Colgate's global network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Design and implement secure network architectures, including VLANs, STP, and HSRP configurations.
  • Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify potential security threats and take corrective action as needed.
  • Collaborate with the security team to develop and implement incident response plans and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues on network security-related issues.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in network security operations, with a focus on design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and HTTP.
  • Experience with network security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification.
  • Experience with cloud-based network security platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks, such as NIST or ISO 27001.
