Job Description

The Camp Maintenance Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our facilities during Power Up Camps. This position involves cleaning, repairs, and maintaining stocked first aid kits throughout each room. The successful candidate will also lead WHMIS training for all camp staff and be responsible for set design and team management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning: Clean the facility, including dusting, mopping, and cleaning washrooms, during camp and training weeks.
  • Repairs: Assist the Facilities Manager in handling necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Safety: Maintain stocked first aid kits throughout each room and assist the Facilities Manager in implementing health and safety protocols.
  • Set Design: Lead a team of volunteers for the set-up and take-down of set designs for each respective camp.
  • Teamwork: Become acquainted with other ministry leaders in the church and take initiative to complete tasks and think ahead of schedule in case of emergencies and/or changes.
