Job Title: Hotel Cashier

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Hotel Cashier to join our team at Gulfian Resources Inc.

Job Summary:

The Hotel Cashier will be responsible for operating a cash register, processing transactions, and providing excellent customer service to our guests. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional manner
  • Manage cash and credit transactions, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment
  • Count and reconcile cash at the end of each shift to ensure accuracy and prevent loss
  • Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Participate in promotional activities and suggest products to guests to increase sales
  • Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash and credit transactions
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
Working Conditions:
