Job Title: Construction Labourer and Helper

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Regehr Contracting Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist in various construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, erecting scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other construction equipment
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Requirements:
  • Own transportation
  • Willing to travel regularly
  • Travel expenses paid by employer
  • Public transportation not available
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, ear plugs, and safety vest required
  • Dependability, flexibility, reliability, team player, and hardworking attitude required
