Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a housekeeper at Qualicare, North York. As a housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized living environment for our clients.

About the Job:

The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping or a related field and possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills. You will work under the direct supervision of the Care Coordinator to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General Housekeeping: Dusting, sweeping, and mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, laundry and ironing, organizing and decluttering living spaces.
  • Meal Preparation: Assisting with meal preparation, including cooking, serving, and cleaning up, following dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Client Support: Providing companionship and assistance to clients as needed, accompanying clients on outings and errands, ensuring the client's safety and well-being.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • A police check.
  • Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and situations.
Estimated Salary:

$18-$22 per hour, depending on experience.
