Job Title: Ethnic Food Cook

The Vintage Punjab is seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of ethnic dishes to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in food preparation and handling
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Dependability, flexibility, and initiative
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
