Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Architect to join our team. As a key member of our cloud solutions team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in multiple cloud solution platforms, driving technical design decisions, and ensuring delivered solutions meet technical and functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in multiple cloud solution platforms (OCI & Azure), technology strategy, and technical design decisions.
  • Solution Design: Assess customer requirements, scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, infrastructure build, configuration, unit testing, and driving production deployment.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure delivered solutions meet/perform to technical and functional/non-functional requirements.
  • Issue Resolution: Provide technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solutions or escalation to service owners.
  • Communication: Communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders with the proper set of views and documents.
  • Automation: Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation scripts and templates.
  • Collaboration: Contribute to Cloud DevOps development activities and complex development tasks, interact with project leads and technical stakeholders in building and deploying cloud solutions, and work closely with the IT security team to provide the appropriate monitoring mechanisms for the deployed architectures.
  • Technical Governance: Provide support and technical governance, expertise related to cloud architectures, deployment, and operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Information Technology.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in a Solution Architecture role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.
  • Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of Linux, experience with cloud Compute and Storage Services, databases, serverless functions, API Management/Service Bus, Identity Providers such as OID and Azure AD, experience with claims-based authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA, and RBAC, knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
  • Language Skills: Excellent knowledge of English and French (spoken and written), knowledge of Spanish (spoken and written).
