We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer in Training to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Project Development: Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects, including grading, utility servicing, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control.
- Design and Analysis: Perform civil design using knowledge of relevant software programs, and work with other engineering disciplines to complete projects under the direction of a senior engineer/designer or project manager.
- Field Work: Perform field work as directed by a senior engineer/supervisor, including data collection and gathering information to support design decisions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively in a team setting, engaging in creative and critical thought, and communicating ideas to others.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering.
- Registration: Registered Engineer-in-Training with EGBC.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, with co-op/internship experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts, ability to interpret sketches, drawings, and building programs, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
As a Civil Engineer in Training at Stantec, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, develop your skills and expertise, and contribute to the success of our team. We offer a competitive salary range of $61,600 - $86,200, depending on location and experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision plans, a well-being program, and paid time off.
