Salary

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 per year, based on relevant experience and qualifications.



Job Description

As an Electrical Installation Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting electricians with various tasks, including moving tools and equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and signaling safety procedures to other workers and the general public. You will also be required to help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, clean machines and immediate work areas, and assist with installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.



Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required;
  • 1-6 months of related experience is preferred;
  • You must be physically fit and able to work outdoors, in confined spaces, and in various locations, including urban and remote areas;
  • You must be willing to relocate and work flexible hours, including overtime when required;
  • You must have efficient interpersonal skills, dependability, initiative, and reliability;
  • You must be comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines;
  • You must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs);
  • You must have steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles; and
  • You must be able to travel to different locations, including remote areas.
