Job Summary:

BrightPath Kids Canada is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a Child Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment that supports the growth and development of young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a program that aligns with BrightPath's curriculum, promoting the development of children's cognitive, social, and emotional skills.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children.
  • Assess children's abilities, interests, and needs, and collaborate with parents and staff to discuss progress.
  • Establish strong relationships with colleagues, management, and families to ensure a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) certification, with membership in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE.
  • Meet provincial requirements for childcare employment.
  • Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR certification.
  • Current immunization and health assessment as per local Minister of Health requirements.
