Job Title: Lead Security Researcher

At NCC Group, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Security Researcher to join our team. As a key member of our Exploit Development Group, you'll play a critical role in advancing the state of the art in vulnerability research and exploitation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a technical leader in vulnerability research and exploitation, both within and outside the company.
  • Develop and lead strategic initiatives related to platforms or capabilities.
  • Provide tactical support to professional and managed services teams in their respective goals.
  • Showcase NCC Group's capability in industry, academia, and customer forums through online and in-person publications and presentations.
  • Focus on projects that are industry-leading and require senior resources due to their unique or complex nature.
  • Mentor and train others in matters related to vulnerability research and exploitation.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in security research, including vulnerability discovery and exploitation.
  • Mastery of vulnerability research and exploitation technical competencies.
  • Expertise in reverse engineering for unmanaged and managed languages.
  • Ability to understand, research, and exploit unfamiliar instruction sets, programming languages, and platforms.
  • Ability to lead teams and multi-faceted projects effectively.
