Job Title: Food Processing Quality Control Technician

Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Food Processing Quality Control Technician to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our food processing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct or assist in air and water quality testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform tests and analysis using various physical and chemical separation techniques to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is calibrated and functioning properly.
  • Compile records for analytical studies and provide data-driven insights to inform quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards.
  • Compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results to inform quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and conduct programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards.
  • Conduct safety training programs to ensure employees are aware of and comply with safety protocols.
  • Develop manufacturing and processing procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and carry out health, safety, and fire prevention plans to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collect and analyze data and samples to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Collect and compile operational or experimental data to inform quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Certificate.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Experience in analysis, product development, and formulation.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage industry regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Willingness to work overtime and physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Dependability, reliability, and strong work ethic.
