About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our design teams on the On Corridor Works project, a key component of the GO Rail Expansion program in Ontario. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects, including track design, civil infrastructure, signalling, electrification infrastructure, and operations and maintenance of the GO rail network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project pursuits and prepare proposals to secure new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Plan and manage each stage of a project to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.
  • Identify and allocate necessary resources for project execution, from inception to completion.
  • Develop project scope, identify deliverables, and prepare work plans, schedules, and budgets for all project stages.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management to ensure project success.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, including project controls staff, project coordinators, and sub-discipline leads.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
  • Maintain a good understanding of project scope to identify scope creep and initiate change management processes.
  • Negotiate solutions to ensure outcomes meet client expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Ensure timely internal and external communication throughout all project phases.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree + 8 years of relevant experience in delivery of rail and transit projects.
  • PMP Designation or Professional Engineer or MBA or equivalent.
  • Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 8 years or more of relevant experience in public rail and transit.
  • Professional Engineer designation.
  • PMP certification.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects of various types and complexities.
  • Familiarity with other design disciplines typically requiring coordination with rail design.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and team skills.
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Able to multitask due to concurrent projects.
