About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Failure Analysis Technician to join our team at Evertz Microsystems Limited. As a key member of our manufacturing group, you will play a critical role in repairing and analyzing our products to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Analysis: Utilize your expertise in electronics testing and troubleshooting to diagnose and repair complex issues with our products.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations to identify the root cause of equipment and product failures, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Training and Development: Share your knowledge and expertise with team members, providing training and guidance to ensure they have the skills and confidence to perform their roles effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with other departments to review and improve documented procedures and processes related to testing, troubleshooting, and reporting.
  • Issue Resolution: Work closely with other departments to expedite resolutions to issues, ensuring that our products are delivered to customers on time and to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education: 2-year Electronics Technician or 3-year Technologist Diploma.
  • Experience: In-depth experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting, with a strong understanding of troubleshooting techniques and the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving ability, and time management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
