Job Description
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to clients in their homes or in long-term care facilities. This includes performing comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to promote the health and well-being of clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and goals
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client
- Deliver high-quality nursing care that promotes the health and well-being of clients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments
Qualifications
- RN level nurse with current registration with the provincial licensing body
- Current CPR certification required
- Clear criminal background check (with vulnerable sector screening), negative TB test
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
