About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineering Integrator to join our team at YD Talent Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing structure and system installation conceptual layouts for the complete Airframe on new and existing aircraft programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team who will develop structure and system installation conceptual layouts for the complete Airframe on new and existing aircraft programs.
  • Closely interface with stress, systems, interiors, and support functions such as thermodynamics, mass properties, etc.
  • Working closely with Program Management Office to generate preliminary design studies and layouts using 3D modeling.
  • Provide technical solutions to resolve design or manufacturing issues.
  • Generate and execute weight savings ideas.
  • Provide input to impact analysis (technical, cost, schedule).
  • Support directly other engineering and operations departments.
  • Lead design and program reviews with partner/suppliers.
  • Manage design changes through all the cycles of the change management process.
  • Coordinate with the management of the various external partners of the program.
  • Deliver engineering documentation and provide adequate visibility.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or aerospace technical field plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in aerospace or related industry.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of aircraft structures and/or systems installation: configuration, preliminary sizing, design for manufacturing, detail design (sheet metal, machined parts, piping, component assembly, GD&T), material and processes, certification requirements, weight control and industry design standards.
  • Strong familiarity in aerospace manufacturing processes and capabilities.
  • Familiarity with aircraft systems overall operation and function is considered an asset.
Tools
  • Knowledge of CATIA V5, Enovia and MS Office is required. Knowledge of NX and Teamcenter is an asset.
  • Should be fluent in English. Knowledge of French is an asset.
